Announcing our Winter Collection Launch!

It's hard for me to believe that I'm sitting here writing a blog post announcing our final launch of the year! (It feels like just yesterday I was sweltering in the Florida summer heat & trying to get into the Christmas spirit to design this collection lol!) But here it is and I'm so proud of it - our Winter Collection launches this Wednesday, December 14th, at 7pm EST! 

We have 13 new canvases launching: 2 of those have stitch guides by the talented Jinny from Stitch Style & 9 out of the 13 designs will have kits available.  

My "final launch of the year" blog posts are always hard for me to write because there's no way that I can put into words how grateful I am that I am able to have this career - and it's truly thanks to you all. I'm teary typing this, and I hope to do a separate blog post '2022 recap' to go into it a bit more there, but just know from the bottom of my heart that I truly love what I do and it means the world to me that you all choose to support me & other needlepoint artists to keep this beautiful hobby going! 

Some quick housekeeping: We can't guarantee that these items will arrive by Christmas but we will do our best to get them in the hands of mail carriers by/on Friday if they are ordered on Wednesday, December 14th. We have seen a delay in shipping speed and unfortunately once it's in the hands of UPS there isn't anything we can do, but we promise to work as fast as possible to get it to UPS. Thank you for understanding and being patient with not only us but the mail staff!

Our 2022 Ornament Reveal 

If you've been here since the start of MJD, you may remember that I have made it a tradition to create a special ornament each year and launch it around November-December. The tradition started in 2019 with Christmas Tree Delivery, followed by Christmas Cookies in 2020, and Christmas Bar Cart in 2021. I'm excited to announce 2022's Ornament....Hot Chocolate & Cinnamon Rolls! 

When designing this year's ornament, I always look at my favorite Christmas traditions. Our traditional Christmas breakfast is always Cinnamon Rolls & Hot Chocolate, and you all know how much I love creating food & drink canvases, so I knew that these 2 would be perfect for this year. Since they're both integral to my traditional breakfast, I decided to switch it up and launch 2 Ornaments this year! 

Both of these canvases will come with digital PDF stitch guides by Jinny from Stitch Style (who has made all of our stitch guides) that will be delivered by email after purchasing. When the canvases are stitched following the guides, they will look exactly as shown in the image above!

Hot Chocolate with Stitch Guide 

Our Hot Chocolate canvas is approximately 3.75" tall by 3.25" wide on 18 mesh. 

It will be available as a canvas with a digital stitch guide by Jinny from Stitch Style for $70. It will also be available as a kit (with the fiber in the kit matching the stitch guide) for $109. The fiber is a mix of Silk Lame Braid (Regular and Petite), Neon Rays, Flair, and Essentials. 

Cinnamon Rolls with Stitch Guide 

Our Cinnamon Rolls Canvas is approximately 2.5" tall by 4.25" wide on 18 mesh.

It will be available as a canvas with a digital stitch guide by Jinny from Stitch Style for $70. It will also be available as a kit (with the fiber in the kit matching the stitch guide) for $107. The fiber is a mix of Silk Lame Braid (Regular and Petite), Neon Rays, and Essentials. 

Backcountry Ski Bum

Our Backcountry Ski Bum Canvas is approximately a 4" circle round on 18 mesh with the white border areas loosely marked with micron pen.

It will be available as a canvas for $65 or a kit for $97. The kit will include a mix of Silk Lame Braid, cards of Essentials, and cut up skeins of Essentials and Pepper Pot Silk.   

Backcountry Boarder

Our Backcountry Boarder Canvas is approximately a 4" circle round on 18 mesh with the white border areas loosely marked with micron pen.

It will be available as a canvas for $65 or a kit for $94. The kit will include a mix of Silk Lame Braid, cards of Essentials, and cut up skeins of Essentials and Pepper Pot Silk.  

Experts Only 

Our Experts Only Canvas is approximately a 5.25" square design on 13 mesh.

It will be available as a canvas for $60 or a kit for $83. The kit will include Planet Earth Silk.

I think this would be adorable finished as a hanging sign for a baby's room.

Vintage Ski Postcard Series 

Vintage Ski Postcard (No Name)

Our Vintage Ski Postcard (No Name) is approximately 7" tall by 5" wide on 13 mesh.

It will be available as a canvas for $90 or a kit for $145. The kit will include Planet Earth Silk (some full skeins and some cut up skeins.)

We will also be offering painted customization on this canvas for an additional $20+ if you have a specific ski town/resort you would like added. 

Vintage Ski Postcard with Names (Aspen, Park City, Vail)

These are the same design as above, approximately 7" tall by 5" wide on 13 mesh, but with popular ski town names painted on.

These 3 designs will be available as canvases for $100 each or a kit for $155. The kit will include Planet Earth Silk (some full skeins and some cut up skeins.)

Please note that each of these canvases will be available as an individual canvas and kit listing on our website, rather than as a grouping that's shown here. We have only shown them as a grouping here for concise purposes since each kit and canvas is the same price. 

Dog Silhouette Series

We chose to add to our Dog Silhouette Series after you all loved our Goldendoodle Silhouette so much! We switched it up a little bit so that these are only available in a light gray color - meaning that you can stitch over them in any color that you would like as long as the hue is darker than the gray!

These make for perfect gifts and are adorable to customize - we're always happy to help you do so for an extra fee between $15-$20 (just email us after purchasing!). They're also great canvases for beginners to learn stitching on. 

Golden Retriever

Our Golden Retriever Canvas is approximately 2.45" tall by 3.15" wide on 13 mesh. It will be available as a canvas for $50.

Labrador

Our Labrador Canvas is approximately 2.35" tall by 3.35" wide on 13 mesh. It will be available as a canvas for $50.

French Bulldog

Our French Bulldog Canvas is approximately 3.3" tall by 3.15" wide on 13 mesh. It will be available as a canvas for $50.

German Shepherd

Our German Shepherd Canvas is approximately 2.25" tall by 3.3" wide on 13 mesh. It will be available as a canvas for $50.
