About the Role

We’re looking for an Email Marketer & Junior Graphic Designer to own the execution of Morgan Julia Designs’ email marketing while also supporting junior-level graphic design across the brand. This role is ideal for someone who loves both strategy and hands-on work - someone who enjoys writing, designing, building, and optimizing.

You’ll be responsible for developing and executing email campaigns in Klaviyo, maintaining deliverability and performance, and creating on-brand visual assets for both digital and print. You’ll work closely with the founder and marketing team to support launches, collections, and ongoing brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Email Marketing & Strategy

  • Develop engaging email content, including newsletters, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
  • Build, schedule, and manage email campaigns in Klaviyo, ensuring technical accuracy and best practices.
  • Implement audience segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation to support customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Manage email lists, subscriber hygiene, and flow execution.
  • Monitor deliverability, sender reputation, and inbox placement to maintain strong email performance.
  • Analyze performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, revenue) and continuously optimize campaigns.
  • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, and layouts to improve results.

Copywriting & Design

  • Write clear, engaging, on-brand email copy.
  • Design email layouts, graphics, and visual elements with a strong eye for brand consistency.
  • Create digital assets such as email graphics, social media visuals, and web banners.
  • Produce print assets, including drop cards, inserts, and other branded materials.
  • Maintain and apply brand guidelines across all written and visual content.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner closely with the founder and broader team on launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Stay organized across multiple timelines and projects in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve workflows, creative consistency, and performance.
  • Support the continued evolution of Morgan Julia Designs’ visual and email marketing systems.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo (required).
  • A solid understanding of email marketing best practices and deliverability fundamentals.
  • Strong writing skills with an eye for tone, clarity, and conversion.
  • Basic to intermediate design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable balancing creative work with technical execution.
  • Experience with e-commerce or lifestyle brands is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

  • Emails are consistently on-brand, engaging, and sent on time.
  • Strong and improving open rates, click-through rates, and revenue from email.
  • Email flows and campaigns feel thoughtful, strategic, and polished.
  • Visual assets are cohesive and aligned with the Morgan Julia Designs aesthetic.
  • The founder feels supported, confident, and ahead of schedule.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Work with a growing, founder-led creative brand.
  • Own a major revenue-driving channel with room to grow.
  • Flexible, remote-friendly role.
  • Collaborative, design-forward environment where details matter.
  • Opportunity to grow with the brand as the role expands.
