What I'm Loving Now - My R.E.P.O.R.T.
I'm jumping on a TikTok trend that caught my eye - the R.E.P.O.R.T., a fun way to share what I'm loving right now!
Here's a peek into what I'm reading, eating, playing, obsessing over, recommending and treating myself to!
R - Reading: Right now I'm diving into Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand. It's the perfect end-of-summer read with its coastal vibes and intriguing plot. I also have my next book on deck, The Perfect Couple. With the Netflix series adaptation coming out on September 5th, I can't wait to see how it compares!
E - Eating: Spaghetti Alle Vongole has been my go-to dish this summer. There's something about a big bowl of pasta that feels like the ultimate comfort food, especially on Sunday nights. I've been following the Food Freak's recipe, which you can find here. Honestly, I've made it so many times this summer, I could probably whip it up in my sleep!
P - Playing: I decided to pick up a new hobby this year, and the harmonica won my heart. It started as a casual interest, but now I own four harmonicas and can confidently play "Piano Man" and several Zach Bryan songs. My latest challenge? Learning "Betty" by Taylor Swift. It's been such a fun and unexpected addition to my daily routine!
O - Obsessing: My new studio space is my current obsession. I recentlymoved into a brighter and bigger studio, and every time I walk in, it just makes me so happy. I'm about 80% done with the setup - who knew decorating could take so long? - but it's been such a rewarding project. I can't wait to share more about it once it's complete!
R-Recommending: If you haven't already, I highly recommend trying new fibers in your needlepoint projects. I know I've mentioned this before, but every time I visit a needlepoint store, I pick up a 'new-to-me' fiber to experiment with. It's a fantastic way to broaden your stitching horizons and get out of your comfort zone. Trust me, you won't regret it!
T-Treating: I'm finally treating myself to something that I've beenputting off - needlepoint finishing. I tend to hold onto my stitched projects, hesitant to send them off because I get decision fatigue about how I want to finish them. But I'm making the finishing process a fun part of my needlepoint journey. It's been a long time coming, and it feels so good to check this off my list!
Putting together a R.E.P.O.R.T. was such a sweet way to reflect on recent months, filling me with so much gratitude for this season of life. I highly recommend trying it yourself, whether you share it on social media or with those you love, it's a lovely way to savor the moments that matter!
XO, Morgan
