Sunday, 8/9 - Beginner Needlepoint Class with Nashville Needlepointer - Jersey City Studio

Join us on Sunday, August 9th from 9 am - 12 pm for an intro to needlepoint class at our Jersey City studio (278 Monmouth Street).

In this class, you will be taught the basics of needlepoint. This includes vertical continental, horizontal continental, and basketweave. We will discuss canvas mesh sizes, picking threads, and stitching best practices. Participants will be provided practice canvas, one small initial canvas, and a self-finishing keychain. 

You will receive an email after registration requesting your preferred initial for your custom canvas!

About the Nashville Needlepointer, Lita! 

After being introduced to needlepoint in 2020, Lita immediately dove in and began stitching everything in sight. She dedicated her free time to learning everything she could about canvas designing, painting, stitching, and finishing. In 2021, she launched NDLPT Nation and did first virtual “Finish Along” for the members of NDLPT Nation and started regular stitch zooms. In 2023, she started teaching in-person classes and found passion in teaching. Since then, she’s been invited to multiple stores to teach and has had the privilege of teaching thousands of students, some of whom have launched their own finishing services.
