All scissors are Stainless Steel
  • The Bronze Scissor is Plasma Coated - designed to look antique
  • The Gold Scissor is 24 Carat Gold Plated

Sizing, Weight, Details:

  • All Scissors are approximately 6" tall by 3.25" wide (when closed)
  • The blade is less than 2" tall, making them TSA approved for domestic travel
  • Each pair weighs approximately 4 oz
  • All of Captain's Clippers are packaged in a branded blue box with foam insert that is molded to the shape of the scissor
Canvas vs Kit

The "Canvas" is like your road map: it's a painted version of the original needlepoint design that you follow as you stitch your artwork. It doesn't come with any threads or materials - it's just your guide.

The “Kit” includes the canvas plus all the fibers and materials you need to complete the design:

  • The painted canvas
  • All of the fibers needed to stitch the design
  • A needle
  • A bag for fiber storage
